At its best in Spring and Summer — worn day or night.
Bézi by Scent Of Africa is a fragrance for men. Bézi was launched in 2023. Bézi was created by Jacques Huclier and Olivier Pescheux. Top notes are Citruses and Black Pepper; middle notes are Blue Lavender and Geranium; base notes are Patchouli, Sandalwood and Incense. Bézi forges ahead. He is a confident visionary, wielding courage to conquer fear. He is challenging, versatile and surprising through his unfailing impetus, always beating adversity. Like the Zambezi river that evokes the beautiful raw power of nature. The god Nyami Nyami, spirit of the Zambezi river, is the origin of this fragrance. He is the most powerful god among all the divinities of the Tonga people. He shows no mercy should anything stand in his way, he has the life force of water and its exhilarating freshness. Just like the image of this god, Bézi diffuses a straightforward, intense, very powerful natural and pure aura. A man who recognises themself in Bézi forges ahead. He is a confident visionary, wielding courage to conquer fear. He is challenging with the body of an athlete, versatile, surprising through his unfailing impetus, always beating adversity. Like the river that inspires him, he can be a torrent or a cloud of fine water droplets, it depends. His desire guides the steps he takes. Bézi is the spirit of change, the spirit of the present moment. Bézi winds his way through different accents. Like the river that absorbs the elements, it flows over from the high plateaux of Zambia to its estuary. Clean and cool citrus freshness, contrasted by feisty black pepper from Madagascar. Blue lavender and Egyptian geranium, two materials that are traditionally masculine in the perfumer’s palette. A woodier base with an abundance of patchouli that evokes sandalwood and envelops sacred Somalian incense. “We had in mind images of waterfalls, bare feet on damp earth, a desire for long- lasting freshness. Bézi has the powerful blast that a solid structure allows. The key ingredients that write its story rise from the soil in Africa from the head to the base”. Olivier Pescheux, Master Perfumer. “This perfume’s unique signature uses the African continent’s trio of emblematic materials as a base: Black pepper from Madagascar, Geranium from Egypt and Incense from Somalia. These ingredients are the base of typically masculine perfumery, and are given a suave and sophisticated aspect for impeccable hold”. Jacques Huclier, Perfumer.
