At its best in Spring and Summer, a touch more in the evening.
Dux Orientis by Pana Dora is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. Dux Orientis was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Ibrahim Al Zoabi. Top notes are Cantaloupe, Tangelo, Bergamot and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Seaweed, Litchi Blossom and Green Nard; base notes are Musk, Ambroxan and Oud. Ibrahim was no ordinary perfumer, he was a dreamer, a historian of scents, and a custodian of cultural heritage. His fascination with the tales of kings and conquerors led him to an extraordinary discovery in the pages of Eastern history, the legend of Odaenathus, the King of Kings of the East. Inspired by Odaenathus's remarkable journey, Ibrahim embarked on a quest to encapsulate the spirit of the king in the form of a perfume. It was to be a sensory odyssey, a tribute to the golden sands of Palmyra and the indomitable spirit of its people. The fragrance journey begins with a symphony of citrusy fruits dancing forth, a vibrant homage to the sun-kissed lands of Palmyra. Bergamot, cantaloupe, mandarin orange, and tangelo dance together in harmony, painting a picture of liquid sunshine on golden sands. The top notes are a celebration of energy and vitality, a prelude to the aromatic voyage that lay ahead. As the journey unfolds, the heart of the perfume reveals deeper layers, a testament to the king's profound connection to both sea and land. Seaweed, green nard, and litchi blossoms emerge, each note a brushstroke painting the portrait of a ruler whose reach spanned across vast oceans and fertile plains. When Dux Orientis journey reaches its crescendo, the base notes emerge to cast a spell of enchantment. Ambroxan, musk, and natural Oud form the soul of the perfume, each note weaving a tale of its own. Musk, with its ancient allure, whispered of relaxation and rejuvenation, while Oud, with its mystical essence, beckons the mind to a state of tranquility and inner strength, like a whisper from centuries past, speaking of power and spirituality steeped in tradition. Dux Orientis is more than a mere fragrance; it is a journey through time and space to a realm where empires rise and fall, and where legends are born. It is a perfume for the dreamers, the adventurers, and the seekers of greatness, a scent that beckons you to walk in the footsteps of kings and queens, to embrace the grandeur of a bygone era. In every spritz of Dux Orientis, the legacy of Odaenathus lives on, a reminder that greatness is not just a destination but a state of mind, an eternal flame that burns bright in the hearts of those who dare to dream.
