Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay by Jovoy Paris is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Ha Long Bay was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Véronique Nyberg. Top notes are Mango, Cardamom and Black Pepper; middle notes are Leather, Cypriol and Cedarwood; base notes are Orcanox™, Amberwood and Patchouli. The perfume opens with a vibrant burst of Vietnamese mango , a juicy and exotic fruitiness that instantly transports you to tropical landscapes. This sweetness is cleverly balanced by the warm spice of cardamom and the sharp, invigorating bite of black pepper , creating an introduction that feels both playful and sophisticated. The top is bright, energetic, and full of contrast, teasing the senses with its dynamic freshness. As the fragrance evolves, the heart reveals a deeper, more mysterious character. Leather emerges, smooth and slightly smoky, adding richness and confidence. This is intertwined with cypriol , earthy and resinous, which brings texture and depth to the composition. Cedarwood anchors the heart with its dry, woody elegance, enhancing the balance between strength and refinement. Together, these notes create a warm, enveloping core that feels bold yet polished. Finally, the perfume settles into a lingering base that radiates sensual warmth. Amber woods cast a golden glow, soft and inviting, while patchouli adds a touch of earthy sweetness and depth. Orcanox , a modern molecule with ambergris-like nuances, extends the fragrance with a musky, woody trail that is both luxurious and long-lasting. The drydown leaves behind a memorable aura that is as radiant as it is refined. Crafted by perfumer Véronique Nyberg , this fragrance belongs to the fruity-woody family , striking a beautiful balance between tropical vibrancy, leathery sophistication, and amber warmth. It tells a story of contrasts — fresh and spicy, bold and elegant, luminous and sensual — a journey from brightness to depth that lingers on the skin like a signature.
