N°5 Eau de Toilette by CHANEL is a floral aldehydic fragrance with a subtly woody character, presented as a more transparent and textured interpretation of the original N°5. Created as a new expression of the N°5 idea introduced in 1921 by Gabrielle Chanel and perfumer Ernest Beaux, the Eau de Toilette version appeared in 1924 with a slightly woodier profile. It is offered in a minimalist bottle inspired by the 1924 design, emphasizing a streamlined presentation of this well-known accord. 1924 is the year when Chanel Parfums was established.
